USL’s Loudoun United FC has made Betfred USA Sports its official sports betting partner, as the latter prepares for its mobile launch in Virginia. The new partnership also includes the addition of the Betfred logo back-of-jersey sponsor for the Red-and-White home and away kits beginning with the 2023 USL Championship Season with additional brand integrations planned for the upcoming season.
According to a press release, the Betfred Sportsbook mobile betting product in Virginia will be formally launched in early 2023. Betfred is currently operating in eight states including the Old Dominion, with upcoming launches in Maryland, Ohio, and Nevada coming soon pending regulatory approval. The deal was facilitated by gaming consultancy SCCG Management and its Founder and CEO Stephen Crystal.

Betfred USA Sports is the US subsidiary of Betfred Group, a UK-based bookmaker founded in 1967 that operates over 1,400 betting shops in the UK. For its part, Loudoun United FC (LUFC) is the highest-level professional soccer franchise in Loudoun County, Virginia. The club plays in the United Soccer League (USL) Championship.
