Released in 1999, The Matrix tells the story of Neo – a computer hacker who learns the hard and terrifying truth about the world he’s living in.
This is one of the first movies filmed at what was at the time the new Fox Studios in Sydney with lots of Sydney locations featured in the film.
Stephen has a family connection to the production and saw this in the cinema as well as multiple times since.
