The rumours around the Google Pixel folding smartphone have intensified since the appearance on Twitter of a video of the alleged device showing it being folded and unfolded.
The reports that Google has been working on a foldable device have been around for months and the appearance of this video by well-known tech leaker Kuba Wojciechowski on Twitter now makes it even more believable.

In the video the phone appears to fold completely flat and open smoothy to expose the inside screen having larger bezels.
The timing of this video leak is also telling with the Google I/O event set to kick off in a couple of weeks and the ideal venue to announce a product of this kind.
Other renders of the rumoured device also appeared on HowToiSolve website.
The Pixel Fold, as it is being called, reportedly will have a 5.8-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch internal screen both running at 120Hz.
On the back we’re expecting a triple camera system including a 48-megapixel main camera, 10-megapixel ultrawide and a 10-megapixel telephoto along with a 9.5-megapixel front camera.
We’re also expecting to catch our first glimpse of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro at the Google I/O which kicks off on May 10.
