Global operator, Betsson Group has inked a deal with R. Franco Digital to take on the Madrid-based company’s entire Malta Gaming Authority-certified portfolio of online casino games.
R. Franco Digital is the interactive arm of Recreativos Franco Group, a pioneer in AWP machine gaming, launched by Joaquín and Jesús Franco Muñoz in 1965.
As a global operator, Betsson brings manifold regional gateways to Spain’s leading game provider, adding to a flurry of recent aggregation and distribution deals with some of the biggest brands in Europe. The hallmark deal brings Betsson players popular games like RF Angels, Cyborg 30L, Vikings Rage, Treasure Keeper, and Witches South.
Other recent partnerships announced by R Franco include Games Global (Microgaming) and 888casino Spain.
Current Portfolio and New RF Games Coming to Betsson
In addition to the legacy portfolio, future titles released by R. Franco Digital are also included in the deal with several new online video slots already in the pipeline for release in the coming months.
The deal will strengthen R. Franco Digital’s status and its position in regulated markets with Betsson serving most of Europe and enjoying expanded market share in Latin America and elsewhere.

In addition to game creation and provenance R Franco also supplies land-based operators with the RF OnMix Terminal – a retail and floor management solution that supports unlimited combinations of gaming terminals, peripherals, games, and third-party systems.
The terminals work with the company’s IRIS platform – an open, flexible, and highly scalable platform designed to power online gambling operations and retail outlets.
R. Franco Becomes Dominant Spanish Game Supplier
In late 2021 legacy Spanish gambling behemoths Grupo Orenes and R. Franco agreed to a merger that transformed the land-based industry there by creating a single dominant gaming machine manufacturer and distributor.
The companies were both launched in the 1960s and together exert a sort of de facto control by virtue of sheer market force in all 17 of the Autonomous Communities of Spain with gambling in cafes, casinos, and arcades.
