The online casino PlayOJO has launched its new global marketing campaign, titled ‘It’s Alive!’, in the UK through TV and digital platforms. The campaign utilises movie tropes of mad scientists reviving monsters to create awareness around the live casino and gameshow products offered by SkillOnNet, the parent company of PlayOJO.
The TV ad showcases a monster coming to life when exposed to the PlayOJO live casino, after which it is transported into a vibrant CGI gaming world. Developed by the London-based creative agency Isobel, the playful campaign debuted in the UK on Friday, June 30th, with plans to expand to other markets later in the summer.
Since its inception in 2017 as an online casino focused on fairness, with no wagering requirements and transparent terms and conditions, PlayOJO has been supported by imaginative and memorable TV advertisements. These ads have introduced viewers to characters like ‘Clint,’ a disgruntled PlayOJO employee who quits due to the casino’s inherent fairness.
Subsequent advertisements featured a dancing Alpaca and the iconic ‘thumbs up,’ and the current campaign features ‘Madame OJO,’ a personification of fun.
