Netgear has released the unlocked version of the Nighthawk M6 5G mobile hotspot in Australia which can now be used with any major 5G operator in Australia and New Zealand.
The previous models were previously locked to the Telstra network and can now be used with any 5G service.
The M6 can create a wireless mobile hotspot for up to 32 connected devices with wi-fi speeds of up to 3.6Gbps.
The Netgear M6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X62 5G modem-RF system to offer those super-fast speeds.
The device has a 2.4-inch display so you can change wi-fi settings, share access, and monitor your data usage.
The battery has a capacity of 5040mAh which is enough to get you through most of the day.
On the rear is a USB-C port to charge the battery and a 2.5G Ethernet port so you can link the M6 Pro to a device with a cable or to an Ethernet switch so you can connect multiple devices.
Users can plug in the M6 via the Ethernet port to your home’s wi-fi router or Orbi Mesh system to share 5G speeds throughout your homes.
The ideal customer for the Netgear Nighthawk M6 Pro is a mobile professional who needs a fast and reliable connection anywhere or someone who wants a backup or replace their current fixed broadband at their home or office.
The Nighthawk M6 5G WiFi 6 router with 5G Sub-6 is priced at $899.
