HungryBear Gaming of the UK has signed a deal with Light & Wonder, Inc. (formerly Scientific Games Interactive) to carry its multiplayer Slots Masters title throughout the company’s extensive global network of online operators.
Hundreds of Light & Wonder operators now have access to the cross-platform title with Slot Masters’ integration into the OPENGAMING™ platform and subsequent individual operator launches that will be meted out over the coming weeks and months.
The Slot Masters game is free to play. However, the lab and studio are said to be in the final stages of developing a real-money version of the game for release before the year’s end.
The innovative pioneering title is industry-first and pits three players against each other head to head to reach the highest score by positively affecting their own scores while negatively affecting their opponents’ scores by deploying various strategic weapons for offensive and defensive maneuvers.
Tournaments Have Seen Live Trials
The title will be familiar to some players thanks to free-to-play tournaments already launched across major brands like Jackpot Joy, Virgin brands, Foxy Bingo, Ladbrokes, and Gamesys/Bally brands among others. The tournaments, held earlier this year were reportedly a huge hit with players.
Expect individual operators to launch bespoke campaigns online and on television using the game availability as a marketing tool as more operators on the Light & Wonder network sign on to carry the game in the upcoming weeks. Slot Masters is expected to be available from its own homepage tab in casino lobbies to make it easy to find and identify separately from the standard casino games.
As a marketing tool, it proved its value in its inaugural run as a tournament tool earlier this year. According to a joint announcement from the companies, data has shown that large volumes of players return to the game daily with a steep trajectory of increased session times and increased player days. The excellent uptake should give operators a novel way of recruiting and keeping players.
